In 2021, the municipality of Gergy acquired a rare document: the watercolour preparatory to the decoration of the southern part of the choir of the church Saint-Germain, signed by Etienne Raffort and dated 1869. This highly fragile work will soon be entrusted to the Denon Museum in Chalon-sur-Saône. She joined in deposit other works of the painter, mayor of Gergy from 1856 to 1870. The municipality invites the public to discover this work during the Heritage Days.
