A museum witness to our history...
The Museum of Printing, is located on the ground floor, in its original walls. This is where the local newspaper L'Indépendant was printed for over 100 years.
Kept in working order, the machines of the Journal «L'Indépendant» restore the atmosphere of this former lead printing workshop which is today the only French example of a complete printing press workshop, kept in its premises.
The evocation of this newspaper through the daily life of those who directed, manufactured, run and write it twice a week in the same city allows us to understand the evolution of a local media.
