Facing the cathedral, the covered market is one of the few examples of metal architecture that was in vogue during the second half of the 19th century called Baltard style. The covered market, currently under renovation, offers an exhibition on its perimeter of 48 postcards on the theme of «la Belle Époque de Sens et ses environs» (1880-1910).
