Follow the path of the stroller!
The trail of the stroller starts at the bottom of the village. The church bell tower is visible in the distance, the buttresses of the church can be seen in the distance. And your journey begins. The Goulet du Chapeau Rouge immediately plunges you into the Middle Ages. Winding alleys, almost trenches. And you get to Ferdinand Gilibert Square and the grand entrance to the abbey. But once again, you can’t reach it. The trail continues through another gully, less picturesque but just as impressive. And you dive back into the village and its alleys. There, the market hall and its commercial activities, here, the Rue du Milieu, considered the most beautiful street of the village and a little further, the Goulet de la Symeise, goulet with many stories. The faubourg will make you discover the oldest houses of the village in this oldest district, with imposing and so typical houses with their pebble facades.
The trail continues in the valley and its forest then goes up above the abbey. Admire the back of the abbey palace and conventual buildings before walking along the abbey gardens and finally finishing your journey in front of the Porterie and the abbey entrance!
