Built entirely in Volvic stone, in Languedoc Gothic style, Notre-Dame-de-Benefits was built in several campaigns. Its construction began in 1304 and ended with the elevation of the two towers in the second half of the sixteenth century: the date 1566 appears engraved at the top of the northern tower.
