The theme of the European Heritage Days, “sustainable heritage”, offers us the opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the past, on what has built, built and will build our environment. Concerning Notre-Dame-du-Port, this heritage takes on universal value by its inscription to the World Heritage of Unesco, under the title of the Ways of Santiago de Compostela in France. The last work on the crypt and sacristy closed a complete restoration campaign that began in 2003.
