Before discovering the organization of the cellars under the lodges of Fort Villageois, visitors will discover the Auvergne vineyard which has known its moment of glory by being the second vineyard in France and which, at the end of the 19th century, has expanded remarkably in order to compensate for the drop in production of the southern vineyard affected by phylloxera. The birth of the first industries helping the wine became a secondary resource and the winegrower became a grain grower.
It was not until the 1980s and 1990s that young winemakers became interested in producing quality wine.
