The curator, Cédric de Veigy, delved into Kertész’s negatives made in Paris with his Leica between 1930 and 1936 to observe and reveal the creative mechanisms at work in the photographer. André Kertész, Walking in the Image" was co-produced by the Médiathèque de l'architecture et du patrimoine (Ministère de la Culture) and the Maison de la Photographie Robert Doisneau (equipments of the EPT Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre), with the collaboration of Stimultania (Strasbourg), L'Imagerie (Lannion), the Museum of Photography (Charleroi) and the Fontfreyde Hotel - photographic centre.
