Crémieu is the capital of Isle-crémieu, a country in the heart of the Dauphiné, 40 km from Lyon. The territory of Isle-Crémieu has a wide variety of landscapes combining woods, ponds, rivers in the plains and high cliffs. The architecture of limestone and slate roofs (roofs in Isle-Crémieu) remains a striking feature of the landscape.
