The Roger-Quilliot art museum, museum of the Fine Arts of Clermont-Ferrand, is installed(settled) in an old(former) convent of ursulines. He(It) presents on six levels of the collections of paintings(paints), sculptures, decorative arts, from medieval time(period) to the XXth century among which heads of works of Chassériau, Gilt, Bartholdi or Fragonard.
This museum benefits from the naming "Museum of France" and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes positions as one of the big(great) cultural establishments in region. The museum proposes throughout the year a rich cultural programme planning(programming) (commented visits, workshops(studios) for children, conferences, exhibitions(exposures)). To come visit it is also an opportunity to discover the district of Montferrand, one of the two historic hearts of the metropolis from Auvergne.
