The royal abbey of Mozac founded on the relics of Saint Austremoine is affiliated to Cluny in 1095 with the priories attached to it. Today it is considered as one of the emblematic Clunisian sites of the Great European Cultural Route, a label awarded by the Council of Europe to the Federation of Clunisian sites of which Mozac is a member.
