As part of the exhibition of the Eureka Gallery «Glaciers, un aventure scientifique», the media library opens the door of its reserves to reveal the history of alpine glaciers through ancient sources. Geographical maps, images and ancient books, selected among the treasures of the library, will be presented by the geographer Christophe Gauchon (laboratory EDYTEM, University Savoie Mont-Blanc).

The Jean-Jacques Rousseau media library, origin of which goes back up(raises) to the 18th century, is a local listed(classified) library(bookcase) which keeps(preserves) an important fund(collection) of rare and precious, old(former) books.
