Atelier 11

We invite you to discover, as part of the heritage days, the Atelier 11 of the Cité Falguière. A unique opportunity to visit the last workshop of a historical artistic community of Paris. Never open to the public before, this workshop, a true heritage, will then be redeveloped at the end of the year, to become in 2022 an International Center for Research and Artistic Residency, dedicated to the legacy of the School of Paris.
As a non-profit organization whose mission is to support intercultural exchanges through art residency programs, AiR Arts has negotiated the exclusive rights to restore the Atelier 11 building, to transform it into an International Centre for Research and Artist Residency. The aim is to revive the spirit of openness and creativity of the École de Paris through a diverse cultural programme.
Before the restoration works, we have planned a series of in situ interventions, making the place available to contemporary artists. This will be an opportunity to honour and celebrate 150 years of living history of this workshop. These projects will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Atelier 11, linking its local roots to a global artistic community.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2021, L'AiR Arts invites everyone to Atelier 11 to witness the cultural renewal of this historic Parisian space, while meeting and dialoguing with artists from other countries.
