It is rather difficult to assign a precise time to the construction of the church, because one easily notices the work of several centuries. Archaeologists are of the opinion to assign to him three different eras: the choir of the thirteenth century bears the mark of transition from Romanesque to Gothic, the transept and the chapels date from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, the bell tower, very massive, seems even older than the choir and the avant-choir. The square choir consists of a cross vault resting on four columns decorated with capitals, the only ones of the church. On the right and at the back, two windows of primitive Gothic style and at the end of the sanctuary, a three-sided window of the same style. The windows of the side chapels are decorated with clovers and feature delicate sculptures that indicate a time after the choir.
The church was inscribed as a Historic Monument in 1984.
