Enjoy a guided tour to discover the underground galleries of the tank completed in 1887.

From the underground galleries, you can admire the impressive cut stone structure that served as a fire reserve since 1887, as well as the pipes and their valves that fed the wash house.

Three vaulted ponds, of 360 m3, were built by the entrepreneur(contractor) Guémard of Damblain, on a project of the agent Voyer of 1884, at the foot of the Town Hall. Fed by a source(spring), they served as reserve and fed, in their turn, the new wash house.
