Ouvrage A10-Immerhof - Ligne Maginot
Allée du Caporal Rabu, 57330 Hettange-Grande
The A10-Immerhof is a Small Structure (PO). It was nicknamed "The Tiburce" by its occupants in 1940, and was built between 1930 and 1935 like most of the north-eastern structures. It is one of only two structures built entirely in the open air, which gives it many particularities.
The mission of the Immerhof was the defence of its sector of action located between the A9-Molvange and A11-Soetrich works, as well as the coverage of the railway connection Thionville-Luxembourg.
The structure, entirely underground, consists of four blocks and a barracks connected by 250 m of galleries with real living spaces and a plant in perfect state of conservation.
