Visit a historic Vosges site dating back to the High Middle Ages and discover the eventful history of this former abbey which has become a place of cultural manifestation.

The free visit of the former Benedictine abbey of Saint-Maur de Bleurville allows you to discover the high church (11th, 16th and 18th century), the crypt (11th - 14th century), the lapidary museum and the conservatory of popular piety (priory of the 18th century).

Abbey Benedictine based(established) in the first half of the XIth century s. by a count of Toul. She(It) is transformed into priory in 1128\. The Romance abbey church of ottonienne and Burgundian influence keeps(preserves) a pre-Romance crypt. The building will be transformed in Gothic time(period) (the XVIth century s.) and in the XVIIIth century s. Sold to Revolution, the church is transformed into agricultural discount(delivery). Acquired(Bought back) in 1973 by the association of the friends de Saint-Maur, abbey church and priory are restored.
