The Saint Antonine Domain belongs even today to the descendants of SÉBASTIEN THUS, trader of the city of Jouques, property of which BROTHER ANNIBAL THUS, canon of the church of Fréjus, left it. The latter(This last) had acquired it of the Mr. of PUYLOUBIER in 1636\. The facade of the ancient country-house, facing east, was resumed(taken back) in the XXth century with a view to symmetry and endowed with a large terrace adorned with a pond. On its north facade, a door in round arch remains(subsists) set back(decreasing). The farm is leant on the West. On the terrace, on both(all) sides of a beautiful staircase of access remain(subsist) a pigeon house (dated by registration(inscription) of 1643) and a devoted chapel, established by Annibal Thus in the 2nd quarter of the XVIIth century. This quadrangular insulated pigeon house is surrounded with a headband(banner) of rectangular stones in projection topped with a row of multicoloured glazed tiles(window panes). The recent history(story) of the Saint Antonine Domain is also bound(connected) to the tradition of the Provençal day-nurseries(cribs) and their Christmas crib figures. Indeed, LOUISE THUS (1899-1992), among whom the husband and doctor from Aix, ÉMILE SICARD contributed greatly to the conservation of the built and natural heritage of the place, became himself known know as santonnière under the name of TOUN.
