In a garden of hundred-year-old conifers, a construction of 1908 rises which protects a site dating Merovingian time(period). Listed(Classified) «Historical monuments – Museum of France», the hypogaeum stays one of the most emblematic monuments of high Middle Ages in Europe.

The site, of international fame, is a Merovingian oratory of the VIIth century, done up in boundaries of a Gallo-Roman necropolis by the abbot Mellebaude.
