The prefecture of Meurthe-et Moselle suggests you coming discover the prefectural hotel together with a guide lecturer of the Lorraine museum.
On Saturday, September 15th, guided tours will begin in: 14 h 30 / 16 h / 17 h 30.
On Sunday, September 16th, guided tours will begin in: 10 h 30 / 14 h 30 / 16 h / 17 h 30
Every hard visit about 1 hour and can welcome 50 people.

The Baligand hotel, built between 1756 and 1764 along the street Lyautey, becomes the prefectural Hotel in 1858, after the Prefect and its services(departments) leave the Palace of the Government (then invested(surrounded) by the armies of Napoleons III) to settle down in the "Small Prefecture", located in the angle of the street Lyautey and of the street Erignac. The prefectural Hotel is then extended by the architect Corrard of Essarts, who adds it his(her) side wing the South (towards the place(square) Stanislas) in which is done up a big(great) room of Parties(Holidays).
