Dominicains Nancy

Come discover built heritage and heritage living on the convent of the Dominicans of Nancy based(established) in 1843 by Henri-Dominique Lacordaire: first Dominican convent to be opened in France after Revolution.
For opportunity(occasion), the exhibition(exposure) on Dominican presence in Lorraine will be presented.

It is in Nancy, in 1843, that the father Henri-Dominique Lacordaire restores in France the Order of the brothers preachers. The brothers installed(settled) in an interim chapel since their arrival decide, in 1861, with the agreement of the father Lacordaire to build a conventual church in neogothic style. Besides the church, the site also includes a cloister and a garden.
