The church Sainte-Croix in Lorry was built in Romanic style in the course of the XIIth century. She(It) made the object of many transformations over the centuries, among which the fortification.
- The church will be open to visit free Saturday, September 15th from 14 h till 18 h.
- On Sunday, September 16th, nonstop guided tours from 14 h, last departure at 17 h.
The church of Lorry joins a Lorraine art first, especially with its apse inspired by that of the cathedral of Verdun but during the German Annexation of 1871-1918, it made the working object (enlargement, paintings(paints), organ) who(which) put it this time under Germanic influence.
Exhibition(Exposure): the Germanic contributions in the church Ste Croix during the first Annexation.
