This impressive work, published after the campaign(countryside) of Egypt of Bonaparte at the beginning of the XIXth century, contains thirteen volumes of boards of very large size (74 x 57 cm) offering very beautiful illustrations having marked modern Egyptology. The copy kept(preserved) to the media library Victor Hugo results(comes) from the personal library(bookcase) of Jules Ferry.
Meeting(Appointment) to the media library on Friday, September 14th at 18 h 30. No preliminary registration(inscription).

The media library of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges shelters rich patrimonial collections: 1100 manuscripts of which Gradual of Saint-Dié (the XVth century s.), 144 incunabulum, 65 000 old(former) printed documents of which Cosmographiae Introductio, act of baptism of America (1507), numerous particular(special) bottoms (Jules and Abel Ferry, Clear and Yvan Goll, Maxim Alexandre).
