With a building of more than 3,000 m 2, the Maison de l'Archéologie has a room hosting a new exhibition every year. It also includes the work areas of the archaeologists from the Direction de l'Archéologie du Département du Pas-de-Calais as well as the Centre for conservation and archaeological study of Pas-de-Calais. The Directorate of Archaeology, composed of a team of about thirty archaeologists with varied and complementary skills, carries out all stages of archaeology. From the field excavation to the exhibition, the study of sites and objects refines our view on the past of the Pas-de-Calais.
