The former Hispano-Suiza wind tunnel is the last vestige of the Hispano-Suiza plant, which was installed in Bois-Colombes between 1914 and 1999\. This wind tunnel was built between 1936 and 1937, in order to carry out tests on aircraft engines designed by Hispano-Suiza. The wind tunnel stopped working in the 1950s and then served as test benches and offices. It was protected from destruction since some parts of the building are listed as historical monuments (in 2000). The school La Cigogne was built in 2004-2005, respecting the shape of the old building.
