The Saint-Serge hill forms a whole (several buildings and gardens) located at 93 rue de Crimée, with a secondary access rue Meynadier, in Paris in the 19th arrondissement. The gardens, open to the public, are maintained by an association of gardeners, in connection with the direction of green spaces and environment (DEVE) of the city of Paris. The plants are remarkable: vines, rosebushes, shrubs, flowers, adult plants, etc. It is a part of nature absolutely preserved and richly diversified. The buildings include the St Sergius Orthodox Church and an old candle factory, dating back to the late 19th century. These two buildings are under a «built heritage to protect» easement at the PLU of the city of Paris. The current church replaced an old Protestant Lutheran temple built at the end of the 19th century, when the property was acquired in 1924 (auction).
