In his permanent exhibition, nearly 750 objects are displayed in a lively and interactive presentation with video terminals, digital projections, reconstructions, manipulable elements and models. From 87 archaeological sites, they are witnesses of human settlement and daily life in this territory, from prehistory to the 18th century. Among these collections are notably exposed some remarkable Gauloise char tombs of the Val d'Oise, the prestigious Merovingian burials of the necropolis of Saint-LouisRieul, the millenary ceramic productions of the potters of the valley of the Ysieux or the weather vane of the castle of Orville besieged and destroyed in 1438 and the millenary ceramic collections discovered in the valley of the Ysieux.
