Adriel Visoto (born in 1987, Brazil) explores the persistence of images and memories in "Dancing with Ghosts", his first exhibition in Switzerland at Galerie Fabienne Levy.
His paintings, composed of meticulous superimpositions, oscillate between appearance and disappearance. In his work, the boundaries between interior and exterior blur, and even outdoors, we remain immersed in the in timacy of the world. His endosed spaces retain the traces of invisible presences, lingering echoes that surface through the paint. The human figure itself dissolves, as in his self-portraits, where identity wavers between presence and erasure.
In this in-between space, where forms emerge only to fade away, each image becomes a fragile threshold between what remains and what disappears.

Adriel Visoto (né en 1987, Brésil) explore la persistance des images et des souvenirs dans "Dancing with Ghosts", sa première exposition en Suisse à la Galerie Fabienne Levy.
Ses peintures, composées de minutieuses superpositions, oscillent entre apparition et disparition. Ses espaces clos conservent les traces de présences invisibles, des échos persistants qui affleurent à travers la peinture. La figure humaine elle-même se dissout, comme dans ses autoportraits, où l’identité oscille entre présence et effacement. Dans cet espace intermédiaire, où les formes émergent pour mieux s’effacer, chaque image devient un seuil fragile entre ce qui demeure et ce qui disparaît.
