The first 'Night of the Churches' will be held in Geneva, on Friday 23 May 2025: over 60 cultural, spiritual, artistic and fun-filled events in 19 places of worship across the canton.

Come and enjoy the first-ever ‘Night of the Churches’ in Geneva!
On 23 May 2025, the first Night of the Churches will be held in Geneva. For one evening, 19 Protestant and Catholic places of worship across the canton will open their doors, giving locals the chance to see the Church in a different light.
There will be over 60 cultural, spiritual, artistic and fun-filled events across the canton, including: classical, gospel and organ pop concerts, a magic show, guided tours, stained-glass discovery, blessings for cyclists and their bikes, an introduction to church flower arranging, choir singing and chair Pilates, a cinema showing and a piano and sax bar. There really will be something for all ages, tastes and interests.
The event is being organised jointly by the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Christian Catholic Churches of Geneva. It is the first time these churches are taking part in this Europe-wide initiative, which Switzerland became part of in 2016.
Make the most of this unique opportunity to explore the rich spiritual, cultural and human heritage of Geneva’s places of worship.

Venez participer à la 1ere édition de la Nuit des Églises à Genève !
Le 23 mai 2025 aura lieu la première édition de la Nuit des Eglises à Genève. À l’occasion de cette manifestation inédite, 19 lieux de culte protestants et catholiques du canton ouvriront leurs portes, le temps d’une soirée, à la rencontre de la population genevoise, pour faire découvrir l’Eglise autrement.
Au programme, plus de 60 événements culturels, artistiques, ludiques et cultuels proposés dans tout le canton : concerts classique, de gospel ou de pop-orgue, spectacle de magie, visites guidées des lieux, découverte des vitraux, bénédiction des cyclistes et de leurs vélos, initiation à la décoration florale liturgique, au chant en chorale ou au Pilates sur chaise, soirée cinéma ou piano bar et saxo, et bien plus ! Il y en aura pour tous les goûts, tous les âges et toutes les sensibilités.
Les Églises catholique romaine, protestante et catholique chrétienne de Genève, coorganisatrices de l’événement, participent pour la première fois à cette initiative œcuménique européenne, organisée en Suisse depuis 2016.
Une occasion unique de découvrir la richesse spirituelle, culturelle et humaine des lieux de culte du canton.
