As night falls, light your torch and set off along the trails of the Salève! Over the course of a 1 to 1½-hour walk, you will make your way through woodlands, paths, and open spaces, guided by the light of real flames.
A walk by torchlight
With an elevation gain of just 100 meters, this short hike is designed to be accessible and sociable. It is led by a state-certified mountain guide who can adjust the route and pace to suit the conditions and the group.
In the darkness, illuminated by torches, the Salève reveals a completely different atmosphere...
Nature and astronomy under the stars
The walk is also an opportunity to discover your surroundings after dark. Along the way, your guide will share their knowledge of the Salève’s flora and fauna, as well as the night sky. Depending on conditions and visibility, look up to observe the Moon, stars, and constellations, and gain a better understanding of what lies above us. It is a unique way to experience the mountain—a blend of observation, storytelling, and a connection with nature.
A local aperitif in the great outdoors
After the walk, it’s time for a tasty treat! Halfway through, the group will pause in the open air to share an aperitif featuring local products: cheese, cured sausage, apple juice, and mulled wine. It is a convivial moment to warm up and enjoy the mountain's tranquility before picking up the torches again for the return journey under the moon and stars.

À la nuit tombée, allumez votre flambeau et partez sur les sentiers du Salève ! Pendant 1h à 1h30 de marche effective, vous progresserez à la lumière de véritables flammes à travers sous-bois, sentiers et espaces ouverts.
Une balade à la lueur de véritables flambeaux
Avec seulement 100 mètres de dénivelé, cette petite randonnée se veut accessible et conviviale. Elle est encadrée par un accompagnateur en montagne diplômé d’État, qui pourra adapter l’itinéraire et le rythme aux conditions et au groupe.
Dans l’obscurité, à la lumière des flambeaux, le Salève dévoile une atmosphère complètement différente…
Nature et astronomie sous les étoiles
La balade est aussi l’occasion de découvrir ce qui nous entoure une fois la nuit tombée. Au fil du parcours, votre accompagnateur partagera avec vous ses connaissances sur la faune et la flore du Salève, mais aussi sur le ciel nocturne. Selon les conditions et la visibilité, levez les yeux pour observer la Lune, les étoiles et les constellations et mieux comprendre ce qui se passe au-dessus de nos têtes. Une autre façon de découvrir la montagne, entre observation, anecdotes et communion avec la nature.
Un apéritif du terroir en pleine nature
Après la marche, place à la gourmandise ! A mi-parcours, une halte en pleine nature permettra au groupe de partager un apéritif composé de produits du terroir : fromage, saucisson, jus de pomme et vin chaud. Un moment convivial pour se réchauffer et profiter du calme de la montagne avant de reprendre les flambeaux pour le chemin du retour, sous la lune et les étoiles.
