Create your own animated film using Eadweard Muybridge's motion-splitshot photographs during school break

Have you heard of the phenakistoscope? Or the zoetrope or the kinetoscope? In this workshop, we’ll explore moving images and create a stop-motion animated film using photographs by Eadweard Muybridge. Participants will break down the sequential photographs of this pioneer of cinema and then create their own animated film.
There are two dates to choose from: Tuesday 20 or Wednesday 21 October. It is the same workshop held on two separate occasions.

Connaissez-vous le phénakistiscope ? Et le zootrope ou le kinétoscope ? Dans cet atelier, nous parlons d’images en mouvement et nous réalisons un film d’animation en Stop Motion à partir des photographies d’Eadweard Muybridge. Les participants et participantes décomposent les photographies en mouvement de ce précurseur du cinéma pour ensuite réaliser leur propre film d’animation.
Deux dates à choix : le mardi 20 ou le mercredi 21 octobre. Il s'agit du même atelier répété deux fois.
