With the Klosterbergegarten on the banks of the Elbe laid Peter Joseph Lenné 1825 the first Volksgarten in German-speaking countries an Landscape design with special groups of trees and a restored pond characterize the park. Four years later, the Society House was also built according to plans of the Berlin architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel completed.
A concert by the Hyperion Trio on the terrace of the Gesellschaftshaus celebrates the 200th anniversary of the park, with gastronomic service and views of the picturesque monastery garden. Classical music for piano trio is played, of course also from the time when the system was created.
