Djazia Satour is back with a new album Aswât (Voices). This very personal and subtle record explores her Algerian musical heritage. We recognize in her compositions actual tendencies colored with folk and acoustic pop music. Her inspiration gradually curbs toward Arabic traditional music that soothed her first years.

Her return to her musical roots is out balanced with actual soundtracks as if real life was interfering with memories and nostalgia. In this new record Djazia Satour uses traditional music as new and inventive opportunities in her present musical performances.
