Die Ausstellung, in der sich Kunst und Wissenschaft vermischen, ist eine Einladung zur Erkundung eines schönen Pyrenäentals, das reich an einer unvorstellbaren biologischen Vielfalt ist. Es ist auch eine Zeitreise, mit der Entdeckung von großen Botanikern, die die Geschichte geprägt haben.
Das im Herzen der östlichen Pyrenäen gelegene Eyne-Tal zeichnet sich durch eine außergewöhnliche Artenvielfalt aus und verdankt seine Bekanntheit den Werken berühmter Naturforscher wie Gouan oder De Candolle. Die Ausstellung stellt ihre botanischen Geheimnisse vor, dank eines historischen, wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Weges zur Entdeckung bemerkenswerter Arten. Sie stellt die Geschichte der ersten Botaniker dar, die von Ende des 16. bis Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts die Pyrenäenflora studierten.
Sie zeigt auch konkret, wie diese Naturforscher die Botanik in der Bibliothek, auf dem Feld oder in naturgeschichtlichen Kabinetten praktizierten, mit einigen Anhaltspunkten zu den pflanzlichen Klassifikationen.
Eine Auswahl von Gemälden von Christophe Eckes, die den emblematischen Arten dieses Tals gewidmet sind, ergänzen die Herbsttafeln und die Werke der Stanislas-Bibliotheken und des botanischen Gartens, um die Ausstellung zu veranschaulichen.

The exhibition, which combines art and science, is an invitation to explore a beautiful valley in the Pyrenees, rich in unsuspected biodiversity. It is also a journey back in time, with the discovery of great botanists who have marked history.
The Eyne valley, nestled in the heart of the eastern Pyrenees, is characterized by exceptional biodiversity and owes its reputation to the work of famous naturalists such as Gouan or De Candolle. The exhibition presents its botanical secrets, through a historical, scientific and artistic journey to the discovery of remarkable species. It reconstructs the history of the first botanists who, from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 19th century, studied the Pyrenean flora.
It also shows, concretely, how these naturalists practiced botany in the library, on the field or in natural history cabinets, with some references to plant classifications.
A selection of paintings by Christophe Eckes dedicated to emblematic species of this valley are added to the herbarium boards and books of the Stanislas libraries and the botanical garden to illustrate the exhibition.

L'esposizione, che mescola arte e scienza, è un invito ad esplorare una bella valle dei Pirenei, ricca di inimmaginabile biodiversità. È anche un viaggio nel tempo, con la scoperta di grandi botanici che hanno segnato la storia.
La valle di Eyne, immersa nel cuore dei Pirenei orientali, è caratterizzata da una biodiversità eccezionale e deve la sua notorietà ai lavori di illustri naturalisti, come Gouan o De Candolle. La mostra presenta i suoi segreti botanici, attraverso un percorso storico, scientifico e artistico alla scoperta di specie notevoli. Ricostruisce la storia dei primi botanici che, dalla fine del XVI secolo all'inizio del XIX secolo, hanno studiato la flora pirenaica.
Mostra anche, concretamente, come questi naturalisti praticavano la botanica in biblioteca, sul campo o in studi di storia naturale, con alcuni riferimenti sulle classificazioni vegetali.
Una selezione di dipinti di Christophe Eckes dedicati a specie emblematiche di questa valle si aggiungono alle tavole d'erbario e alle opere delle biblioteche Stanislas e del giardino botanico per illustrare la mostra.

L'exposition, mêlant art et science, est une invitation à explorer une belle vallée des Pyrénées, riche d’une insoupçonnable biodiversité. C’est aussi un voyage dans le temps, avec la découverte de grands botanistes qui ont marqué l’histoire.
La vallée d’Eyne, nichée au cœur des Pyrénées orientales, se caractérise par une biodiversité exceptionnelle et doit sa notoriété aux travaux d’illustres naturalistes, tels que Gouan ou De Candolle. L’exposition présente ses secrets botaniques, grâce à un parcours historique, scientifique et artistique à la découverte d’espèces remarquables. Elle reconstitue l’histoire des premiers botanistes qui, de la fin du XVIe siècle au début du XIXe siècle, ont étudié la flore pyrénéenne.
Elle montre aussi, concrètement, comment ces naturalistes pratiquaient la botanique en bibliothèque, sur le terrain ou dans des cabinets d’histoire naturelle, avec quelques repères sur les classifications végétales.
Une sélection de peintures de Christophe Eckes consacrées à des espèces emblématiques de cette vallée s’ajoutent aux planches d’herbier et aux ouvrages des bibliothèques Stanislas et du jardin botanique pour illustrer l’exposition.

El valle de Eyne, enclavado en el corazón de los Pirineos orientales, se caracteriza por una biodiversidad excepcional y debe su notoriedad a las obras de ilustres naturalistas, como Gouan o De Candolle. La exposición presenta sus secretos botánicos, gracias a un recorrido histórico, científico y artístico al descubrimiento de especies notables. Reconstituye la historia de los primeros botánicos que, desde finales del siglo XVI hasta principios del XIX, estudiaron la flora pirenaica.
Muestra también, concretamente, cómo estos naturalistas practicaban la botánica en la biblioteca, sobre el terreno o en gabinetes de historia natural, con algunas referencias sobre las clasificaciones vegetales.
