In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, venite ad assistere allo spettacolo Vauban, un ingegnere al servizio del Re Sole. È grazie alla volontà di Luigi XIV che Belfort è diventata una roccaforte resistente. Andate in ispezione con Vauban, il suo famoso ingegnere. È in qualità di commissario generale delle fortificazioni reali che vi spiega il suo grande disegno per Belfort rendendo omaggio a Gaspard de Champagne, il suo predecessore, che ha saputo proiettare il vecchio castello nella modernità e quindi aiutare Vauban nel suo progetto di sistemazione.
