Rediscover the site of the Invalides and its monumental renovated Cour d'honneur: an exceptional reopening not to be missed!
Installed since 1905 in the heart of the Hôtel national des Invalides, the Musée de l'Armée invites you to two days of discovery of the history of the monument and its grandiose Cour d'honneur accessible again after a year of exceptional renovation, the first for more than 350 years. On a guided tour or at your own pace, travel back in time, explore the collections and trace the history of a unique monument! Costumed mediators as residents of the Invalides at the time of Louis XIV, founder of the place, also have a few surprises in store for you...
For the most curious, spaces of the site usually closed to the public, the large living room and the Turenne room of the Army Museum, as well as the private rooms of the military governor of Paris, will exceptionally open their doors.
The partners of the Museum also invite you to attend meetings and unpublished demonstrations. Finally, fans of military literature will not miss the 9th Army Book Fair and its sixty authors.
