Vom landwirtschaftlichen Gedächtnis zum Live-Spektakel
Anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes öffnet ein ehemaliger Tabaktrockner im Département Lot-et-Garonne seine Türen ausnahmsweise und findet ein neues Leben.
Die Öffentlichkeit ist eingeladen, dieses ländliche Gebäude zu entdecken, das einst dem Anbau und der Trocknung von Tabak gewidmet war und eine landwirtschaftliche Tätigkeit darstellt, die die Geschichte und die Landschaften der Region tief geprägt hat.
Durch Suspendierte Erinnerungen, ein kurzer Film, der ständig gezeigt wird, werden die Geschichte des Tabakanbaus, die Gesten der Arbeit, die Jahreszeiten, aber vor allem das Gedächtnis der Frauen und Männer, die diese Orte zum Leben erweckt haben, wieder aufleben lassen.
Denn ein Trockner war nicht nur ein landwirtschaftliches Gebäude. Um ihn herum wurden die Arbeit und das Leben der Familien organisiert. Unter seinem Gerüst hingen die Tabakblätter; Heute sind es die Spuren und Erinnerungen dieser Zeit, die der Ort zu bewahren versucht.
Diese erste Öffnung wird auch die Gelegenheit sein, das neue Leben für den Trockner zu entdecken.
So wird für diejenigen, die nach 18 Uhr in der Halbdunkelheit und in der Holzarchitektur des Trockners bleiben, der Pianist Philippe Casemode die Gemälde aus einer Ausstellung von Modeste Moussorgski sowie Werke von Robert Schumann und Johann Sebastian Bach interpretieren.
Das Konzert wird die Form eines Konzertspektakels annehmen, in dem Musik, Bilder und Regie mit der einzigartigen Architektur des Gebäudes interagieren.
Für diese erste Öffnung wird der Trockner so einen symbolischen Schritt tun: Nachdem er jahrzehntelang die Arbeit der Menschen und das Trocknen der Tabakblätter beherbergt hatte, wird er für einen Abend zu einem Ort des Gedenkens, der Begegnung und des künstlerischen Schaffens.

From agricultural memory to live performance
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, a former tobacco kiln in Lot-et-Garonne is exceptionally opening its doors and finding new life.
The public is invited to discover this rural building once dedicated to the cultivation and drying of tobacco, witness to an agricultural activity that has profoundly marked the history and landscapes of the region.
Through Suspended memories, a short film projected continuously, will re-emerge the history of tobacco cultivation, the gestures of work, the seasons, but above all the memory of the women and men who have brought these places to life.
Because a dryer was not just an agricultural building. Around him were organized the work and life of families. Under its framework were hanging the tobacco leaves; Today, it is the traces and memories of this era that the place tries to retain.
This first opening will also be an opportunity to discover the new life imagined for the dryer.
Thus, for those who will stay after 6 p.m., in the half-light and wooden architecture of the dryer, the pianist Philippe Casemode will perform the Pictures from an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, as well as works by Robert Schumann and Jean-Sébastien Bach
The concert will take the form of a concert-show, in which music, images and staging will dialogue with the unique architecture of the building.
For this first opening, the dryer will thus accomplish a symbolic passage: after having sheltered for decades the work of men and the drying of tobacco leaves, it will become, for an evening, a place of memory, meeting and artistic creation.

Dalla memoria agricola allo spettacolo vivente
In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, un antico essiccatore di tabacco del Lot-et-Garonne apre eccezionalmente le sue porte e ritrova una nuova vita.
Il pubblico è invitato a scoprire questo edificio rurale un tempo dedicato alla coltivazione e all'essiccazione del tabacco, testimone di un'attività agricola che ha profondamente segnato la storia e i paesaggi della regione.
Attraverso Memorie sospese, un breve film proiettato continuamente, riemergeranno la storia della coltivazione del tabacco, i gesti del lavoro, le stagioni, ma soprattutto la memoria delle donne e degli uomini che hanno fatto vivere questi luoghi.
Perché un essiccatore non era solo un edificio agricolo. Attorno a lui si organizzavano il lavoro e la vita delle famiglie. Sotto la sua struttura erano appese le foglie di tabacco; oggi, sono le tracce e i ricordi di quell'epoca che il luogo cerca di conservare.
Questa prima apertura sarà anche l'occasione per scoprire la nuova vita immaginata per l'asciugatrice.
Così, per coloro che rimarranno dopo le 18:00, nella penombra e nell'architettura in legno dell'essiccatoio, il pianista Philippe Casemode interpreterà i quadri di una mostra di Modeste Moussorgski, nonché opere di Robert Schumann e Jean-Sébastien Bach
Il concerto avrà la forma di un concerto-spettacolo, in cui musica, immagini e regia dialogheranno con l'architettura singolare dell'edificio.
Per questa prima apertura, l'essiccatore compirà così un passaggio simbolico: dopo aver ospitato per decenni il lavoro degli uomini e l'essiccazione delle foglie di tabacco, diventerà, nel corso di una serata, un luogo di memoria, di incontro e di creazione artistica.

À l'occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine, un ancien séchoir à tabac du Lot-et-Garonne ouvre exceptionnellement ses portes et retrouve une nouvelle vie.
Le public est invité à découvrir ce bâtiment rural autrefois consacré à la culture et au séchage du tabac, témoin d'une activité agricole qui a profondément marqué l'histoire et les paysages de la région.
À travers Mémoires suspendues, un court film projeté en continu, ressurgiront l'histoire de la culture du tabac, les gestes du travail, les saisons, mais surtout la mémoire des femmes et des hommes qui ont fait vivre ces lieux.
Car un séchoir n'était pas seulement un bâtiment agricole. Autour de lui s'organisaient le travail et la vie des familles. Sous sa charpente étaient suspendues les feuilles de tabac ; aujourd'hui, ce sont les traces et les souvenirs de cette époque que le lieu tente de retenir.
Cette première ouverture sera aussi l'occasion de découvrir la nouvelle vie imaginée pour le séchoir.
Ainsi, pour ceux qui resteront après 18 h, dans la pénombre et l'architecture de bois du séchoir, le pianiste Philippe Casemode interprétera les Tableaux d'une exposition de Modeste Moussorgski, ainsi que des oeuvres de Robert Schumann et Jean-Sébastien Bach
Le concert prendra la forme d'un concert-spectacle, dans lequel musique, images et mise en scène dialogueront avec l'architecture singulière du bâtiment.
Pour cette première ouverture, le séchoir accomplira ainsi un passage symbolique : après avoir abrité pendant des décennies le travail des hommes et le séchage des feuilles de tabac, il deviendra, le temps d'une soirée, un lieu de mémoire, de rencontre et de création artistique.

De la memoria agrícola al espectáculo vivo
Con ocasión de las Jornadas europeas del patrimonio, un antiguo secador de tabaco del Lot-et-Garonne abre excepcionalmente sus puertas y encuentra una nueva vida.
El público está invitado a descubrir este edificio rural, antiguamente dedicado al cultivo y secado del tabaco, testigo de una actividad agrícola que ha marcado profundamente la historia y los paisajes de la región.
A través Memorias suspendidas, una película corta proyectada continuamente, resurgirán la historia del cultivo del tabaco, los gestos del trabajo, las estaciones, pero sobre todo la memoria de las mujeres y de los hombres que hicieron vivir estos lugares.
Ya que un secador no era solo un edificio agrícola. Alrededor de él se organizaban el trabajo y la vida de las familias. Bajo su estructura colgaban las hojas de tabaco; hoy, son las huellas y los recuerdos de esa época lo que el lugar intenta recordar.
Esta primera apertura será también la ocasión de descubrir la nueva vida imaginada para el secador.
Así, para quienes se queden después de las 18 horas, en la penumbra y la arquitectura de madera del secador, el pianista Philippe Casemode interpretará los cuadros de una exposición de Modeste Moussorgski, así como obras de Robert Schumann y Jean-Sébastien Bach
El concierto tomará la forma de un concierto-espectáculo, en el que música, imágenes y puesta en escena dialogarán con la arquitectura singular del edificio.
Para esta primera apertura, la secadora realizará así un paso simbólico: después de haber albergado durante décadas el trabajo de los hombres y el secado de las hojas de tabaco, se convertirá, durante una noche, en un lugar de memoria, encuentro y creación artística.
