The original construction of the church dates from the 12th century, but only the apse is from this time. The church was extensively remodeled in the 17th century. The nave and aisle testify to the work done at that time. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the church was attached to the regular priory of the Order of St. Benedict. At the end of the 16th century, during the religious wars, the church was in the hands of the Protestant Lord Beynac. The church contains a procession cross. Christ in polychrome wood of the eighteenth century, is classified as a historical monument since June 1, 1961\. To note also a baptismal VAT of the 17th century.
