For this edition, l'Image Satellite continues its exploration of contemporary forms of photography by proposing a reflection on territories as spaces of struggle. More than mere geographical markers, contrary to the images of Epinal of landscapes frozen in decorum, territories are considered as moving constructions, always in the making. Shaped by uses that are in turn ritualized or poaching, inherited from authorized or profane circulations, crossed by past, present and future conflicts, these perpetual creations sediment and perform power relations, collective memories and imaginaries.
