Anlässlich des 90. Jahrestages der Volksfront bietet die Stadt Dives-sur-Mer "Paix, Pain, Liberté" (Frieden, Brot, Freiheit) an, eine Kultur- und Gedenkveranstaltung, die dazu einlädt, den Geist von 1936 durch Geschichte, Kunst und Kulturerbe wiederzuentdecken.
Ausstellung, Konferenzen und Konzert bieten einen Blick auf diese Gründungszeit, die die französische Gesellschaft tiefgreifend verändert hat.
Durch die Investition in eine verlassene Stätte bringt "Frieden, Brot, Freiheit" das Erbe, die Erinnerung und die zeitgenössische Schöpfung ins Gespräch. Die Veranstaltung lädt das Publikum ein, einen neuen Blick auf das Erbe der Vergangenheit zu werfen.

By investing a disused site, "Peace, Bread, Freedom" creates a dialogue between heritage, memory and contemporary creation. The event invites the public to take a renewed look at the legacies of the past.
This proposal is fully in line with the spirit of the European Heritage Days: to make heritage a living space for transmission, reflection and encounter between generations.
