Im Jahr 1952 errichteten die französischen Behörden etwa zwei Kilometer südlich der beiden Ortschaften Montluel und Dagneux einen deutschen Militärfriedhof. Ab 1958 wurde es in seiner heutigen Form erweitert und umgebaut. Es umfasst die deutschen Toten des Zweiten Weltkriegs, die an zahlreichen Orten beigesetzt sind, hauptsächlich im Süden Frankreichs.

In 1952, the French authorities built a German military cemetery about 2 km south of the two towns of Montluel and Dagneux. From 1958, it was expanded and converted into its current form. It brings together the German dead of the 2nd World War buried in many places, mainly in the south of France.

Nel 1952, le autorità francesi costruirono un cimitero militare tedesco a circa 2 km a sud delle due località di Montluel e Dagneux. A partire dal 1958 è stato ampliato e ristrutturato nella sua forma attuale. Raggruppa i morti tedeschi della seconda guerra mondiale sepolti in numerosi luoghi, principalmente nel sud della Francia.

En 1952, les autorités françaises aménagèrent, à environ 2 km au sud des deux localités de Montluel et Dagneux, un cimetière militaire allemand. A partir de 1958, il fut élargi et aménagé dans sa forme actuelle. Il regroupe les morts allemands de la 2nde guerre mondiale inhumés dans de nombreux lieux, principalement dans le sud de la France.
