Lorient feiert in diesem Jahr die 360 Jahre seiner Geschichte, einer Weltstadt geprägt von Zirkulationen, Begegnungen und fernen Horizonten.
Bei dieser Gelegenheit lädt die Galerie du Faouëdic den Frac Bretagne ein, eine Reihe von Werken aus seiner Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst zu präsentieren, die seit über vier Jahrzehnten national und international anerkannt ist.
Durch die Auswahl von etwa dreißig Werken bietet diese Ausstellung einen Überblick über das aktuelle künstlerische Schaffen, vereint um universelle und einzigartige Themen im Einklang mit der Geschichte und Identität von Lorient.
Ohne zu versuchen, ein Porträt der Stadt zu zeichnen, enthüllen die Künstler ihre diskreten Linien: jene, die das Intime mit dem Kollektiv verbinden, das Gedächtnis mit der Gegenwart, die sichtbaren Geografien mit den inneren Landschaften.

Lorient celebrates this year the 360 years of its history, a world city shaped by circulations, encounters and distant horizons.
On this occasion, the Galerie du Faouëdic invites the Frac Bretagne to present a set of works from its contemporary art collection, recognized nationally and internationally for more than four decades.
Through the selection of thirty works, this exhibition offers a panorama of current artistic creation, gathered around themes both universal and singular in echo to the history and identity of Lorient.
Without seeking to draw a portrait of the city, artists reveal its discrete lines: those that connect the intimate to the collective, memory to the present, visible geographies to interior landscapes.

Lorient festeggia quest'anno i 360 anni della sua storia, città-mondo plasmata dalle circolazioni, dagli incontri e dagli orizzonti lontani.
In questa occasione, la Galerie du Faouëdic invita il Frac Bretagne a presentare un insieme di opere provenienti dalla sua collezione d'arte contemporanea, riconosciuta a livello nazionale e internazionale da oltre quattro decenni.
Attraverso la selezione di una trentina di opere, questa mostra offre un panorama della creazione artistica attuale, riunito attorno a tematiche sia universali che singolari in eco della storia e dell'identità di Lorient.
Senza cercare di tracciare un ritratto della città, gli artisti ne svelano le linee discrete: quelle che collegano l'intimo al collettivo, la memoria al presente, le geografie visibili ai paesaggi interni.

Lorient fête cette année les 360 ans de son histoire, ville-monde façonnée par les circulations, les rencontres et les horizons lointains.
À cette occasion, la Galerie du Faouëdic invite le Frac Bretagne à présenter un ensemble d’oeuvres issues de sa collection d’art contemporain, reconnue à l’échelle nationale et internationale depuis plus de quatre décennies.
À travers la sélection d’une trentaine d’oeuvres, cette exposition offre un panorama de la création artistique actuelle, réunies autour de thématiques à la fois universelles et singulières en écho à l’histoire et l’identité de Lorient.
Sans chercher à dresser un portrait de la cité, les artistes en dévoilent les lignes discrètes : celles qui relient l’intime au collectif, la mémoire au présent, les géographies visibles aux paysages intérieurs.

En esta ocasión, la Galería del Faouëdic invita al Frac Bretagne a presentar un conjunto de obras procedentes de su colección de arte contemporáneo, reconocida a escala nacional e internacional desde hace más de cuatro décadas.
A través de la selección de una treintena de obras, esta exposición ofrece un panorama de la creación artística actual, reunidas en torno a temáticas a la vez universales y singulares en eco de la historia y la identidad de Lorient.
Sin tratar de hacer un retrato de la ciudad, los artistas revelan sus líneas discretas: las que unen lo íntimo al colectivo, la memoria al presente, las geografías visibles a los paisajes interiores.
