Anlässlich des zweihundertjährigen Jubiläums der Fotografie zeichnet diese Ausstellung die Entwicklung von La Rochelle und seiner Bewohner durch alte Fotografien, Glastafeln, Postkarten und eine Auswahl von historischen Aufnahmen aus der Artothek nach.
Verschiedene Führungen ermöglichen es auch, Daguerreotypien, stereoskopische Ansichten, Fototagebücher und andere wertvolle Zeugnisse der Vergangenheit zu entdecken.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of photography, this exhibition traces the evolution of La Rochelle and its inhabitants through old photographs, glass plates, postcards and a selection of heritage pictures from the art library.
Several guided tours will also allow you to discover daguerreotypes, stereoscopic views, photograph books and other precious testimonies of the past.

À l’occasion du bicentenaire de la photographie, cette exposition retrace l’évolution de La Rochelle et de ses habitants à travers des photographies anciennes, des plaques de verre, des cartes postales et une sélection de clichés patrimonialisés issus de l’artothèque.
Plusieurs visites guidées permettront également de découvrir des daguerréotypes, des vues stéréoscopiques, des carnets de photographie et d’autres précieux témoignages du passé.
