Mittelalterliche Manuskripte, Reformationsdrucke, unveröffentlichte Archive, Dokumente des Studentenlebens in der Belle Époque... Die Sammlungen der Fakultät für protestantische Theologie in Paris erzählen fast acht Jahrhunderte Geschichte. Jeder dieser Zeugen hat die Zeiten bis zu uns durchlebt, hätte sich aber genauso gut verlaufen können. Einige haben die Kriege überlebt, das Verschwinden der Bibliotheken, in denen sie untergebracht waren, und sind bis heute vom Vergessen bedroht.
Anlässlich der Europäischen Tage des Kulturerbes lädt diese Ausstellung dazu ein, einige dieser außergewöhnlichen Stücke zu entdecken, die selten der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert werden. Darunter befinden sich ein bisher unveröffentlichter Briefwechsel zwischen einem protestantischen Geistlichen und einem ehemaligen NS-Funktionär sowie Dokumente, die den Alltag der damaligen Studenten aufzeigen.
Diese Sammlungen zu bewahren, zu studieren und weiterzugeben bedeutet, eine lebendige Erinnerung zu bewahren und ein Erbe zugänglich zu machen, dessen Zukunft von unserer Fähigkeit abhängt, es zu schützen und aufzuwerten.

Medieval manuscripts, Reformation prints, unpublished archives, documents from student life in the Belle Époque... The collections of the Protestant Faculty of Theology in Paris tell nearly eight centuries of history. Each of these witnesses has passed through the ages to us, but could just as easily have been lost. Some have indeed survived the wars, the disappearance of the libraries that housed them and are still threatened with oblivion.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, this exhibition invites to discover some of these exceptional pieces, rarely presented to the public. Among them are an unpublished correspondence between a Protestant chaplain and a former Nazi official, as well as documents revealing the daily life of students in the past.
Conserving, studying and transmitting these collections means preserving a living memory and making accessible a heritage whose future depends on our ability to protect and enhance it.

Manoscritti medievali, stampe della Riforma, archivi inediti, documenti della vita studentesca nella Belle Époque... Le collezioni della Facoltà di teologia protestante di Parigi raccontano quasi otto secoli di storia. Ognuno di questi testimoni ha attraversato i secoli fino a noi, ma avrebbe potuto anche perdersi. Alcuni, infatti, sono sopravvissuti alle guerre, alla scomparsa delle biblioteche che li ospitavano e restano, ancora oggi, minacciati dall'oblio.
In occasione delle Giornate europee del patrimonio, questa mostra invita a scoprire alcune di queste opere eccezionali, raramente presentate al pubblico. Tra queste vi è una corrispondenza inedita tra un cappellano protestante e un ex ufficiale nazista, oltre a documenti che rivelano la vita quotidiana degli studenti di un tempo.
Conservare, studiare e trasmettere queste collezioni significa preservare una memoria viva e rendere accessibile un patrimonio il cui futuro dipende dalla nostra capacità di proteggerlo e valorizzarlo.

Manuscrits médiévaux, imprimés de la Réforme, archives inédites, documents de la vie étudiante à la Belle Epoque… Les collections de la Faculté de théologie protestante de Paris racontent près de huit siècles d'histoire. Chacun de ces témoins a traversé les âges jusqu'à nous, mais aurait tout aussi bien pu se perdre. Certains ont en effet survécu aux guerres, à la disparition des bibliothèques qui les abritaient et restent, aujourd'hui encore, menacés d'oubli.
À l'occasion des Journées européennes du patrimoine, cette exposition invite à découvrir quelques-unes de ces pièces exceptionnelles, rarement présentées au public. Parmi elles figurent une correspondance inédite entre un aumônier protestant et un ancien responsable nazi, ainsi que des documents révélant le quotidien des étudiants d'autrefois.
Conserver, étudier et transmettre ces collections, c'est préserver une mémoire vivante et rendre accessible un patrimoine dont l'avenir dépend de notre capacité à le protéger et à le valoriser.

Manuscritos medievales, impresos de la Reforma, archivos inéditos, documentos de la vida estudiantil en la Belle Époque... Las colecciones de la Facultad de teología protestante de París cuentan casi ocho siglos de historia. Cada uno de estos testigos ha pasado por los siglos hasta llegar a nosotros, pero también podrían haberse perdido. Algunos sobrevivieron a las guerras, a la desaparición de las bibliotecas que los albergaban y siguen amenazados con el olvido.
Con ocasión de las Jornadas europeas del patrimonio, esta exposición invita a descubrir algunas de estas piezas excepcionales, raramente presentadas al público.
