Wie hat die Stadtbibliothek von Blois den Krieg überstanden? War sie ein verschlossener Ort, an dem die Bleiter während der Besatzungsjahre Ruhe und Frieden finden konnten? Von der Verwaltung der "antideutschen" Bücher bis zur Verwahrung wertvoller Bücher im Schloss Chantreuil beschreibt diese Konferenz, wie das Bibliothekspersonal mit dem Besatzer zusammenleben musste und wie die Bücher erhalten wurden.

Rainer Pohl arbeitete während des Zweiten Weltkriegs seit mehreren Jahren an Blois und ist Autor mehrerer Publikationen und Vorträge.

From the management of "anti-German" books to the sheltering of valuable books at the castle of Chantreuil, this conference describes how the library staff had to cohabit with the occupier and how the books were preserved.
