Im 19. Jahrhundert ist Cavaillon eine Stadt voller Veränderungen: das Kathedralviertel oder der Weiler Vignères sind keine Ausnahme.
Der Cabassole-Platz wurde umgestaltet und die alte, von der Zeit gebeutelte Kathedrale erhält ein neues Aussehen. Sie schmückt sich nun mit neuen, mittelalterlich inspirierten Dekoren und profitiert vom Fortschritt der Industrialisierung: Metalleinsätze und Eisenspanner durchziehen den Bau.
Was die Vignères betrifft, so wurde die romanische Kapelle Notre-Dame umgebaut, aber da sie zu klein war, erhielt der Weiler eine neugotische Kirche.
Zwischen romantischer Vision, Pastiche oder idealer Darstellung ist es dieses verträumte und neu erdachte Mittelalter, das wir entdecken werden, ein Abenteuer, das uns auf die Spur bunter Persönlichkeiten führt: dem Abbé Terris oder den Brüdern Virebent.

In the 19th century, Cavaillon was a city undergoing rapid change: the cathedral district or the hamlet of Les Vignères were no exception.
Place Cabassole is remodeled and the old cathedral, damaged by time, has been given a new look. It then adorns itself with new decorations of medieval inspiration and takes advantage of the progress of industrialization: metal inserts and iron rods dot the construction.
As for the Vignères, the Romanesque chapel of Notre-Dame was transformed, but, being too small, the hamlet acquired a neo-Gothic church.
Between romantic vision, pastiche or ideal restitution, it is this dreamed and reimagined Middle Ages that we will discover, an adventure that will lead us on the track of colorful characters: Abbé Terris or the Virebent brothers.

Nel XIX secolo, Cavaillon è una città in piena trasformazione: il quartiere della cattedrale o la frazione dei Vignères non sono esenti dalla regola.
La piazza Cabassole è stata rimodellata e l'antica cattedrale, malconcia dal tempo, ha un nuovo aspetto. Si veste allora di nuovi decori di ispirazione medievale e trae vantaggio dai progressi dell'industrializzazione: inserti metallici e tiranti di ferro punteggiano la costruzione.
Per quanto riguarda i Vignères, la cappella romanica di Notre-Dame è stata trasformata, ma, essendo troppo piccola, il borgo si dota di una chiesa neogotica.
Tra visione romantica, pastiche o rappresentazione ideale, è questo Medioevo sognato e reinventato che scopriremo, un'avventura che ci porterà sulla pista di personaggi vivaci: l'Abbé Terris o i fratelli Virebent.
