In einer bemerkenswerten Kulturstätte am Ufer der Saône im 1. Arrondissement von Lyon bilden die SUBS sowohl einen Arbeitsraum für Künstler als auch einen Ort des Lebens und des künstlerischen Schaffens, der allen offen steht. Als lebendiger Ort künstlerischer Erfahrungen beherbergen die SUBS jedes Jahr rund vierzig Kompanien in Residenz und bieten ein vielfältiges künstlerisches Programm: Tanz, Zirkus, Musik, Performance, Theater, digitale Kunst und hybride und atypische Formen.
Jeden Sommer verwandelt ein künstlerisches Team den Ort der Subsistances mit einer originellen Szenografie, die durch künstlerische Termine und eine riesige Terrasse aktiviert wird.
Nach dem großen Erfolg von KRAKEN im Jahr 2022 ist der syrische Künstler und Architekt Khaled Alwarea mit ARCADIA, einem evolutionären Werk, das bis 2027 geplant ist, wieder bei SUBS dabei. Dieses nachhaltige und partizipative Projekt basiert auf einer modularen Montage von Metall- und Holzkonstruktionen, die sich an die Jahreszeiten und Nutzungen anpassen.

In a remarkable heritage site on the banks of the Saône in the 1st district of Lyon, the SUBS constitute both a workspace for artists and a place of life and artistic creation open to all. SUBS hosts around forty companies in residence each year and offers a varied artistic program: dance, circus, music, performance, theater, digital arts and hybrid and atypical forms.
Every summer, an artistic team transforms the Subsistances site with an original scenography activated by artistic events and a giant terrace.
After the immense success of KRAKEN in 2022, Syrian artist and architect Khaled Alwarea is back at SUBS with ARCADIA, an evolving work planned until 2027. This sustainable and participative project is based on a modular assembly of metal and wooded structures, adaptable to the seasons and uses.

In un sito patrimoniale notevole sulle rive della Saona nel 1o arrondissement di Lione, i SUBS costituiscono allo stesso tempo uno spazio di lavoro per gli artisti e un luogo di vita e di creazione artistica aperto a tutti. Luogo vivente di esperienze artistiche, i SUBS ospitano ogni anno una quarantina di compagnie in residenza e propongono una programmazione artistica variata: danza, circo, musica, performance, teatro, arti digitali e forme ibride e atipiche.
Ogni estate, un team artistico trasforma il sito delle Subsistances con una scenografia originale attivata da appuntamenti artistici e una terrazza gigante.
Dopo l'enorme successo del KRAKEN nel 2022, l'artista e architetto siriano Khaled Alwarea è tornato ai SUBS con ARCADIA, un'opera evolutiva prevista fino al 2027. Questo progetto sostenibile e partecipativo si basa su un assemblaggio modulare di strutture metalliche e legnose, adattabili alle stagioni e agli usi.

Dans un site patrimonial remarquable en bord de Saône dans le 1er arrondissement de Lyon, les SUBS constituent à la fois un espace de travail pour les artistes et un lieu de vie et de création artistique ouvert à toutes et tous. Lieu vivant d’expériences artistiques, les SUBS accueillent chaque année une quarantaine de compagnies en résidence et proposent une programmation artistique variée : danse, cirque, musique, performance, théâtre, arts numériques et formes hybrides et atypiques.
Chaque été, une équipe artistique métamorphose le site des Subsistances avec une scénographie originale activée par des rendez-vous artistiques et une terrasse géante.
Après l’immense succès du KRAKEN en 2022, l’artiste et architecte syrien Khaled Alwarea est de retour aux SUBS avec ARCADIA, une œuvre évolutive prévue jusqu’en 2027. Ce projet durable et participatif repose sur un assemblage modulaire de structures métalliques et boisées, adaptables aux saisons et aux usages.
