Old photos of the place and visit to the spaces
Meeting, testimony: Saturday, September 19 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
A special time is devoted to the history of the place itself, once a coal depot, now in transformation. Through a historical photo album, stories about the evolution of spaces and a dialogue between Jacques Perrotte and Michel Benoist, visitors discover the daily life of the place in the 1960s. A way to tell a story and explain the soul of this French heritage place.

The third place "Au Charbon": a reinvented heritage Located in the heart of the historic center of Courseulles-sur-Mer, close to the market square, "Au Charbon" is a place full of family history, witness to the post-war and reconstruction period. Since 2010, this emblematic site has been the subject of an ambitious rehabilitation: renovation of the house on two floors, transformation of the old buildings of the fuel company and redevelopment of the courtyard dating from the 1950s. This metamorphosis embodies a strong symbolic transition: "from fossil energy to creative and digital energy". True to the spirit of the place, the project values original materials—concrete, wood, tiles, old windows, stairs — in an approach of optimization and preservation. On 700 m 2, "Au Charbon" deploys a hybrid ecosystem bringing together several poles of activity: workspaces (offices, training rooms, coworking), creation and manufacturing workshops, a digital creative lab, an agora dedicated to cultural
