For 25 years, Root 70—the quartet led by trombonist Nils Wogram—has brought together four musicians whose chemistry remains as strong as ever. With its piano-less lineup, the group cultivates an acoustic, ethereal, and timeless style of jazz that bridges “West Coast cool” and modernity. After eight albums, Root 70 continues to surprise with music that is free-spirited, refined, and deeply personal.
