«Eh bien! Dansez maintenant», entertainment based on La Fontaine's fables
Composed by Vladimir Cosma for the OSR 20 years ago, this divertimento for narrator and symphony orchestra illustrates some of Jean de La Fontaine’s most famous fables with a series of dances. We are delighted to see it back on the programme this season, conducted by Philippe Béran. The musicians of the OSR will share the stage with the young musicians of the Geneva College Orchestra, and it is the voice of Joan Mompart that will bring out all the liveliness, mischief and modernity of these timeless tales.

«Eh bien! Dansez maintenant», divertissement d’après les fables de La Fontaine
Composé par Vladimir Cosma pour l’OSR il y a vingt ans, ce divertissement pour narrateur et orchestre symphonique illustre avec une série de danses quelques-unes des plus célèbres fables de Jean de La Fontaine. C’est avec bonheur que nous les retrouvons cette saison au programme sous la baguette de Philippe Béran. Les musiciens de l’OSR partageront la scène avec les jeunes de l’Orchestre du Collège de Genève et c’est la voix de Joan Mompart qui fera jaillir toute la vivacité, la malice et la modernité de ces récits intemporels.
